CREAMY CHOCOLATE FUDGE
450g (1 lb) Caster Sugar,
300ml (½ pt) Water,
1 Large Can Condensed Milk,
100g (4oz) Milk Cooking Chocolate, grated.
Method: Grease a 20.5 x 15cm (8 x 6in) tin or an 18cm ( 7 in) square tin. Heat the sugar and water gently in a heavy-based saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Bring the mixture to the boil, add the condensed milk and boil to a soft ball stage, stirring to prevent sticking. Remove pan from heat and place on a cool surface. Add the chocolate and beat well until thick and creamy. Pour into the prepared tin. When almost cold, mark into squares with a sharp knife.
